If there were a gospel of Sharpie, it would begin with something concerning children and Sharpies and furniture. We know from first hand experience that these three together end with tears and bleach.
The Church Of Sharpie brings together approximately 20 or so followers and together they create large format illustrations using nothing but fresh, black ink “Sharpie” brand pens. Sharpie is of course the Coke & Pepsi of permanent markers. As ubiquitous as a Bic once was, I’ve recently seen Sharpies in what I can only describe as Pantone variations. There’s now a jumbo sharpie and even mini ones.
A quick visit to the Sharpie website: there are 18 styles of Sharpie markers, even a Dale Earnhardt, Jr signature pen. [Oh I get it, signature…] There are 39 different colors. Black still rules…
