Volksware means Peoples Product and the folks at Volksware want people to have a personal connection to the clothes they wear. Volksware doesn’t actually produce clothing, their mission is more in line with education than fashion. The textile carpet visually represents the amount of clothes a person “consumes” in a lifetime. Not sure which person, I’m sure our western consumption is more than most of the rest of the world. I like the fact that it’s a carpet to walk on.
