Luke O’sullivan

July 28, 2010

Recent RISD grad Luke O’sullivan screenprints his illustrations onto wood, which appears to be MDF, to create 3-d sculptural houses and cityscapes. You can see his work at the RISD Museum Store in Providence Rhode Island - I took the poor quality pics at the end of this post with my iPhone at the RISD Store.

  3. The front steps that finish up in the air remind me of some of the farmhouses around where I grew up in western Canada — no-one ever used the front door, so they never got around to building the steps up to it - the door was left to open (if it ever did) in mid-air.
