This beautiful photo is from the twoandsix blog. Michelle in Australia says she saw the ones I made and created her own out of book pages. What glorious photography on her site too! I like the juxtaposition of the old books and the flowers. Of all the paper crafts I’ve made recently, the Kusudama flowers seem to inspire the most. They are striking, and so simple to make. This is the tutorial I learned from.

And also check out the paper garland / bunting created from more book pages. What is it about bunting/garlands that make any doorway or room or home fun?

oh thankyou, {hugs}! I was thrilled to discover your site and wonderful talent - just so much inspiration here xxx

Hello Judy,
I’m just waiting to hear from one last winner who hasn’t replied yet. If I don’t hear from them, I’ll choose someone else but I’ll post as soon as all the Gift Certificates have been awarded.

I’ve got a book I hate all picked out, and your kusudama tutorial permanently sitting open on my desktop, just waiting for me to get my act together, and make those so cool little flowers! I love them!

muralimanohar, What are you waiting for? You can do it. It really only takes about ten minutes to make them once you have the folds down. You can make your first one in less than 20 minutes, promise! Go for it! Jason
