I’ve Been Busy

June 9, 2009

I’ve been busy.
We returned from the Stationery Show a few weeks ago and dove right into production. I haven’t blogged since, but I’ve been working on my book, which seems to take up a lot of my time during the day. So I’m taking a short break from blogging. Readers who have been with us for a while know that I always take a break from blogging after trade shows, we just get so busy…

Here are some paper houses I made this weekend - I’ve been playing with books. These are projects for the book I’m writing. Have a wonderful week everyone! Be creative and have fun.

  2. Super cute. I would be terrible at this though as I cant really fold a sheet of paper neatly in half.

    Not kidding.

  3. Love the houses. Do I have to wait until the book comes out to learn how to make them? By the way, I’m rejoicing in the fact that you are writing another book. When do you think it will be published (I know, terrible question)?

  4. Rose, the book is scheduled for release June 2010. It’s about books - as you probably guessed - specifically how to reimagine the book form. With projects and galleries. Thanks for the kind words! Jason

  9. Yay, a new book to look forward to! I was just browsing through “Making Journals By Hand” again yesterday and it’s really timeless stuff. I guess a year will go by quickly, right?

  14. Yes, I made them from book pages. Takes about ten minutes or so. Pretty easy. This is how I made them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aia5JITISH8
