Check out the cool paper dioramas by Los Angeles artist Ana Serrano. As a first generation Mexican-American, the colorful palette is reminiscent of her cultural heritage. They remind me of Day Of The Dead and mexican pottery and textiles. Really nice work. She is also working on a full sized cardboard cowboy - check out her website for images. I think our daughter Faye is going to be inspired to create her own little houses after seeing Ana’s work.
